Information

Advent is to begin a new. For those of the Christian faith it is the period leading up to Christmas Day, which is a four-week period. It is then the beginning of the Christian year.

To put it simply, it is the period of time that those in faith prepare for the coming of their savior. It is also a time to reflect and give penance.

The word advent literally means arrival, so being paired with the arrival of Christ is a perfect placement.
