Philipine is located in the southwestern Pacific. It does include over 7,000 islands. The Philippines are also called the Pearl of the Orient Seas. The nation is not only independent, but sovereign as well. The capital city is Quezon City or Manila. Both are stated as its capital. This nation is predominately Roman Catholic making it the second in Asia.
