Indonesia is located in southeastern Asia. It gained independence in the year in 1945 from the Netherlands. This republic consists of more than 13,000 islands. It is the chief oil producer for areas in the Pacific and Far East regions.

Indonesia is the largest nation in the world with its population being of a Muslim majority. Indonesia consists of 33 providences. It has close to 19,000 islands. The funny thing is that close to 7,000 of these islands are inhabited.
