Nebraska
Nebraska was added to the United States Constitution on March 1st, 1867 making it the 37th state.
The states that border Nebraska are Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The goldenrod is the state flower. Omaha and Lincoln are two of the largest cities in Nebraska. The state motto is equality before the law.
Nebraska, like so many other states, is the birthplace of a past president. On July 14, 1913, Gerald Rudolph Ford was born in Omaha, Nebraska.
