Hawaii is located in the Pacific Ocean within the Hawaiian Islands. An interesting fact about Hawaii is that it is the only U.S. state to be completely surrounded by water.
It also does not share a border with any other state just like Alaska. It is the southernmost state of the United States.
Hawaii lies in the tropics and continues to grow because of nature. This is attributed to the lava form volcanoes. On August 21, 1959, Hawaii became a state.
