Elections
Elections are votes that are held to fill a particular position or office. Not all elections are concerned with the political parties.
Elections can be used in other settings such as clubs in school or a society or business. Political parties rely on elections to fill several positions for a house of representatives. A democracy uses this process for positions in the legislature, while it still can be used in the judiciary, executive, regional, or local government.
You must be 18 years old to vote in the U.S. and be registered to do so.
