Privacy is keeping yourself hidden from the public eye or from the computer public if you are speaking about the internet.

The internet has software available that watches over your computer and the activities that are conducted upon it. It is like a watchdog, but is called spyware. You are able to control what information that you share on the internet and most sites are secure.

You should watch closely if you visit unsecured sites and proceed with caution. Never give out your credit card or social security number without knowing first that a site is properly secured.
