Information

Emulation is one machine obtaining information just as another machine does. This can refer to the software and hardware of a computer.

It allows for one computer to imitate the processes of another computer. The function of the second computer starts to behave just as the first computer does.

The software and hardware can be ran on the first computer than transferred onto the second computer where they both can be ran. This does include printers so that one printer can work on a computer with various forms of software
