Festivals are community-inspired events that may take place once a year or bi-annually. They usually take place on a designated day when something or someone is celebrated in the community.

The theme may be the same each year, which makes it a community tradition and somewhat well known throughout that particular town or city. Unique themes generate the best festivals like Mardi Gras in New Orleans or the running with the bulls in Spain.

Some festivals honor different gods that are a part of Greek mythology.

Festival of Performing Arts
Annual international festival of classical music and performing arts takes place in January and February. Includes information on artists, tickets, locations, and dates.
