While Hollywood has their own style requirements as well as the fashion designers, it is all about what you like. Beauty is ideally in the eye of the beholder. To be beautiful is to achieve perfection, however nothing is perfect, and therefore beauty must exist between the imperfections.
Magazines and television tell us what is fashionable and what is beautiful, but it is only a matter of opinion.
