Landscape architecture is the type of architecture that concerns itself with all of the planning and design.

It deals with the art, the plans that were created, the management, preservations, and rehabilitation, if needed of the selected land being used. Landscape architecture is also about the design of largely scaled construction that is also man made.

To be a landscape architect is to be the one who is involved with step one of the building processes. This type of architect oversees the building process.
